Anyone know how to remove these marks from a PDF in Acrobat XI? They just appeared and I can’t figure out how to remove them. Boxes in all four corners of every page and the target looking thing in the middle of the top, bottom and both sides of all pages.

Have gone through all of the view settings, print settings, layers etc and cannot remove them and they are printing on the document also.
If I download an instruction manual online it is usually very sharp, good quality and less than a megabyte big. If I scan the same manual with my scanner it usually comes out in a lower quality and yet the file is much larger.
How do companies create such high quality PDFs and keep them at such a small size?
As someone who scans almost every document to store on the cloud, space will eventually become an issue

I am thinking about creating a pdf file of some literature I posted on an irrelevant website and was wanting to sell the pdf for a small fee. Is there a way for me to do this without running the risk of someone purchasing it only to upload it somewhere on the web where people could access/download it for free. I know of people setting up websites and selling their PDF files but I am not sure how to do all that. If there is, how might I go about doing that and how much trouble would it be? Thanks.

Hi, whats the best practice in order to ensure watermarks and redactions cannot be removed? I have been printing files to pdf but it takes forever and it blows up the size of the file. any ideas? thanks.

I have an image that I want to fill the entire page, So I’d like to set the image size to exactly 8.5x11 inches. Is there a way to type in image scaling values in acrobat pro? Also, is the a snap function like the snap to document bounds function in photoshop?
I am trying to create a pointer link to a specific section of the PDF file which is in my local directory.
Normally I create hyperlinks to the pages like that.

But I cannot figure out how can I point sections of the book with URL. For example, the following hyperlinks point to the somewhere of the book. I want to know what is the URL syntax for accessing these sections.

So I am trying to create a fillable document with multiple spots for digital signatures. Each person signing the document would fill out three text blocks that will lock after they sign. The issue I am running into is I would like to prevent the person who signed the document from removing their own signature. Is there any way to do this?

Can someone point me to instructions for creating fdf that encrypts data to submit to db and then saves local copy of pdf?
What I’m trying to do is make a fillable pdf form. Then save it to webserver when submitted and dump data to db that meets hippa requirements..
I’m printing a pdf containing an image created in Photoshop with coloured shapes created using the curvature pen tool (PS: screenshot; pdf: screenshot) where all the shapes touch or overlap. But in the printout (pic) there are white lines between the coloured shapes. Is there something I’m doing wrong in printing from Acrobat?

I am printing several pdfs in a booklet and the booklet has a limit of 160 pages. The file that I upload for the booklet has to be a single pdf so I plan to merge them my pdfs together. In order to get all the pdfs I need in the 160 page limit, I would like to save my pdfs as landscape mode with two pages per each piece of paper. I know how I would do this if I were to actually be printing them, but I’d like to save them in this format if possible and then merge them all together. Is there a way to do this with Adobe or through some online service? Thanks in advance :)

I’ve noticed that many of the PDF editors look VERY similar. Wondershare PDFelement & iSkySoft PDF Editor (these have to be clones), but even PDF Expert by Readdle, Foxit Phantom PDF, and several others have almost the same UI and features / limitations.
Is this a case of imitation / flattery… or is there someone white labeling some of these products?
