Sorry I am a noob when it come to this stuff. I have a map of my community that has a couple of things that are wrong and we only have a PDF version. 1 of the buildings I need to rotate 160 degrees because it is backwards and then there are a few other issues. How do I do this to a PDF. Is there any thing that will let me cut the image of the building and just rotate it?

i want my Cover Letter & Resume to be not editable, is there a way?! i already tried converting to pdf, but i read, that users can use my pdf file and edit for their personal use…. if i convert from Word (docx) format to JPEG Format, is it then editable?
i already made the experience, there is a tool called “Nitro PDF” which can edit pdf files!!!
but i don’t want that!

I have a folder with a couple thousands of small-res images of various sizes that I need to print. Problem is, popular freeware software creates one page for each image, even though most of the images are wide and thin. I need something that’ll arrange these images in a single column made of multiple images on each page (to reduce the overall number of pages). And it needs to be a batch converter, because manually arranging images for every page will take forever. Thanks!

I have a series of pdfs that need to be on a new letterhead, but the letterhead is a Word doc.
Is it possible to open with Word on a specific Word doc?
Most if the time when I attach a PDF to an email, it shows up as the entire picture. No problem, I right click and turn it to icon mode. However, Once I send the email it always goes back to being the entire picture. This is problematic when sending resumes, cover letters etc. How do I get the PDF to stay i icon mode? I’m using gmail btw.

Just as the title says. What would be the best software to change the text on a paper document that has been scanned to a computer?
My lecturer usually uploads our lecture slides on a pdf with 2 slides per page. However, I find it so much easier to take notes when the lecture slides are provided as 3 slides per page (with the lines next to each slide).
Does anyone know how/if I can change a PDF with 2 slides per page into 3 slides per page?
I have attempted to convert the entire PDF to a Powerpoint format and then “print” the document off as 3 slides per page, however, this has merely resulted in a page with 6 barely readable slides.
If anyone has any advice or suggestions, I’d greatly appreciate it!
Alright y'all so I fucked up, I had a paper due at 5pm and I submitted it a few mins late which means I’m gonna be docked 10% off my grade. However I might be in luck man. The teacher wanted our essays in PDF format and is pretty chill with it being a few mins late if you tell them you had technical issues. All she asks is for you to send her the PDF file via email. She said she will be able to see the time I created and last modified the PDF.
So I changed the time on my laptop to 4:49pm and converted my essay in the word doc to a PDF. That way, the PDF says it was created and last modified 4:49pm. Then I changed the time back to normal on my laptop.
I just wanna know if my professor will be able to see the real time I created it (5:07pm) or if she’ll be able to see the time I had changed my laptop time to (4:49pm) or if she’ll be able to see any time at all.

I’m writing a doctoral thesis at the moment and for research purposes (and better workflow) I need to convert a scan of an old German book into (searchable text). I tried quite a few things but nothing worked and now I am getting really frustrated:
I downloaded the pdf from archive.org (https://archive.org/details/diebedeutungdesw00erdm)
I want/need to convert this pdf-file into text. Unfortunately the book is written in “Fraktur” (old German calligraphic hand) and the built-in pdf (Adobe?) OCR software/program/plugin/whatever-it’s-called does not at all recognize the text in any usable way.
I know recognizing “Fraktur” is pretty hard but I normally use FreeOCR (http://www.paperfile.net/) which does great work with Fraktur (and is much better than the OCR-software archive.org uses. I tried this with scanned texts several times before and I got very good results)
But now I am unable to make FreeOCR work with the linked (and downloaded) pdf. Somehow the text in the pdf is “selectable” but copying it into a txt-document gives gibberish as result. However, converting the pdf online to image files (and also opening it with FreeOCR) only gives/shows me the “blanc” pages without text.
Therefore I’m looking for any way to get FreeOCR work with the pdf. Is there any way to “convert” the “selectable” text into “image”-text again?
(Google isn’t helpfull with this because obviously I’m lacking the technical term for this “selectable text” in pdfs and searching fo untechnical terms only gives me links to OCR-Software)
If you guys could help me with this, this would be really great. Thanks a lot in advance!

I am filling out an application for grad school. The form they’ve supplied is a PDF form, which I have downloaded. Everything is okay until I reach the box where I can type in job duties and responsibilities. From there, I type in what I need and it is all one continuous line. I’ve tried to find way to edit the box but I have no clue what to do from here.

I’m looking for a good program that does batch processing of PDFs (basically everything that www.ilovepdf.com does but in batch).
I’m using Windows 10. I’d like a proper program, not a website or stupid subscription shit. I don’t mind paying for something that hits all the check boxes, but I can’t seem to find anything that does all those jobs in batch. Compressing and merging are the most important factors. Editing the content of the file is not necessary at all.

I’ve got what is basically an answer sheet for studying with multiple choice questions, and below each question is the answer already revealed. When trying to study with this sheet, my eyes instantly see the answer even when I’m not trying. I’d like to cover up the answers so I could test myself and click to reveal, or hover over the blanked out answer to test myself. How would I accomplish this? I’ve tried Nitro PDF to create a form but this seems to result in a “click to reveal all” situation, where I would select any answer for any question, then suddenly all other PDFs are revealed as well, even after trying to create a seperate form manually to hide each answer.
I don’t have access to any other PDF editor.

I’ve done something, that supposed to be more safe. I’ve downloaded the emergency kit for my wife’s 1password account, and added a bit of security - another password (using Terminal on macOS). Of course she doesn’t remember the master password for 1password, so we need to use the emergency kit…but I don’t remember the password which was created by me. I’m looking for solution to break the password, tried a bunch of apps, but mostly they are $hit.

Hi, I’m working on a Win10 PC with Acrobat X Pro. I have the capability to add comments to files and edit existing comments, however I cannot find a way to reply to comments. I gather that I should be able to right-click a comment and a Reply option should appear. When I do this, I get the menu with all the other options I’ve seen online, but the Reply option is absent. If I look at the Comment List pane, clicking on a comment shows no signs of allowing a reply.
The file properties tells me the security method is No Security and the restrictions summary are all marked as Allowed.
Anyone have any ideas?

I’m on the job market again and decided to use a resume builder to make me stand out. After some research I decided to use Zety. I loved the templates and my resume looks amazing, but there’s one problem- I can’t get it to print to a normal size paper. I emailed customer service and they stated that their files are larger than A4 and regular paper, and that all o have to do is select ‘scale to fit’ before printing. I tried this and it did not work. I also went to Staples to see if they could help and they were unable to get the PDF to fit as well. I’d really like to use the resume I built because not only do I love the layout, I also paid for the service. If anyone could help I would be eternally grateful! Thanks in advance!
